So firstly,
You should know about that study of skeleton is known as osteology
Now lets start,
- The skeleton of vertebrate is divided into two types endoskeleton and exoskeleton.
- Exoskeleton is non living derived either from epidermis or dermis of skin, e.g., scales.
- Endoskeleton in invertebrates includes elements made of living skeleton connective tissue called cartridges and bones.

side)

2. Appendicitis skeleton (total bones are 126)
(i) upper extremity (total bone 64)
(a) pectoral girdles 04
(b) upper arms 02
(c) lower arms 04
(d) wrists 16

(ii) lower extremity (total bones 62)
(a) pelvic girdles 02

Some important points about the bone...
- Femur is longest bone and stapes is smallest bone.
- Arthrology is the study of joints.
- Fibula is the thinnest bone.
- Tibia is shin bone.
- Sternum is absent in fishes.
- Tibia-fibula is the longest bone of frog.
- Funny bone is a bone found in a bend of the elbow.
- Spondylitis is inflammation of vertebrae
- Synovitis is inflammation leading to swelling at joint.
- Chondrology is the study of cartilages.
- Bone is the hardest tissue.
- Os-penis is a bone found in the penis of rodents.
- Fibro cartilage is strongest cartilage.
